Easter decoration, paper craft
For all you who have been enduring many, many winter days, I hope this new paper craft gives you a little lift, it will hopefully help remind you of warm, sunny spring days just around the corner.
For us in New Zealand, Autumn is on it's way, imagine hunting for Easter treats amongst fallen leaves!
I know Easter is a wee way off, but I really wanted to have a gift set ready for all you organised crafters!
The set: A bunny, basket and gift card are available now as printables in my Etsy shop.
If you don't have a printer, simply save the files on a memory stick and take it to your local print/copy center, there you can print as many as you like to give to your friends and family!
I will draw my Love Heart print give away on Monday, so you have a couple of days left to enter!
Have a lovely Weekend!

mosaic memories
I was looking through old photos this morning and happened upon a few mosic images.
You may be surprised to know that before venturing into cut paper illustration I made and sold mosaics!
Some were large instillations for gardens, patios etc, others were concrete inlaid pieces which I made using all sorts of wonderful china pieces and glass tiles. As you can see I made many shaped molds.
They where so popular that I worked every day supplying several shops. Eventually this painstaking work proved too much, the cleaning up every day alone took an hour, all my work was done inside on the dining room table! even the large ones which I cut into smaller managable pieces!
It was a lot of fun and very rewarding, looking at these, I may have to get out my mosaic tools, this time, however it will be just for fun.

Paper cut art pendants
I have plenty of work on at the moment so I don't know why I suddenly have the urge to make Jewelery!
Part of the reason could be that since our holiday to Hawaii last year, some of my favourite necklaces have disappeared! I don't want to blame the fabulous hotel we stayed at but my sons i pod has also been missing since our return.
I have been looking for some new items to replace them. My style is colourful and striking, subtle and understated is not my thing. I haven't had much luck so far so I have made my own by laminating inkjet prints of my work onto heavy black board and covering them in a layer of resin, a piece of brown suede finishes them.
If you would like one, please email me and I can send it to you, anyware in the world! they are NZ$28 each+shipping (you can payby paypal), they are 5cm x5cm and the cord is 50 cm long.
