Bright owl throw pillow

I took an owl motif from a wee while ago, took a photo of the kitchen cupboards for the wood grain affect, added a couple of bright and cheery colours and here we are, my cushion obsession continues!

Collage pillows

 If you have been following my blog you have probably seen my previous photos of a series of 4 magazine cut out collages. I had such fun making these! I thought that they would make bright summery cushions so I added lovely fresh colours on the reverse and inspirational messages in modern fonts, I am quite amazed how well the magazing photos have translated onto fabric!

Vinyage roses cushions

As a little deviation from paper cuts I dug out some scraps of vintage fabric that I have kept from my sewing days. I had fun scanning and enlarging sections of my favourite vintage roses, I was so pleased with the result, they have lovely messages on the back too!
