i created these pieces a while ago for someone who is no longer in a position to use them so i have decided to turn them into etsy prints and greeting cards if any one would like them.
i have used a combo of painted paper and vintage fabric from my stash of table cloths !

the flowers are from my garden, i absolutely love red and white stripes ! spot the wee spider!

i have no reason behind posting these images, they are just a little snap shot of some of my favorite things, it is such a vital part of my happiness, to be surrounded by things that make my heart joyful.

these ladies are a collection of prints created using a combo of painted and vintage fabric.

these 2 pieces are ones that i started last year and just wasn't sure about,

i unearthed them today and thought, hmmm  maybe if i finish them...

and here they are, i can't decide which is nicer a black or white swan, we have a couple of black ones living in one of our bays, they really are beautiful birds.
i think i will make these into etsy prints and offer them as cards to one of my clients who are waiting for a range from me.

new fruit and veg store craft kit

yippee i'm back!

and i am so thrilled with the first in a series of little 3d shops i will be creating as craft kits for my etsy shop and for you to make up and collect.

they can be displayed on a shelf or hung up (which i love)

the first in the series is a fruit and veg store. it has a 3d awning and shop sign and 2 little flags blowing in the breeze.

in my world all shops would be this joyful, i'd enjoy shopping alot more!

i will be adding the next one in a few weeks.... hmm... i think it might be a fashion boutique!

i'm not back at work quite yet but i just have to show you the groovy daisy tin and cute little shakers i found on our car trip back from auckland, it's amazing to me that they are over 50 years old and as bright and joyful as ever!

just a quick note to say my little etsy shop is open again for business,

i'm still away but will be back next week so till then....

what a funny mix of posts today!

the records are a fab find(seeing that they are numbered, makes me wonder how groovy the rest would have been), the beautiful blue nest egg is a late birthday pressie from my lovely sister in law, elspeth.

i don't know about you but i am not a big fan of plastic christmas decorations( yes there are always exceptions!)

i have started collecting glass ones, i haven't found any vintage ones yet, they have probably all broken!

during one of my regular treasure hunting trips i was over the moon, excited to discover a brand new box of genuine german straw stars. i remember making them as a child, these are truly beautiful, each one is unique with a dusting of glitter,

we normally have a real tree at christmas but because we are going up north on the 20th i decided a branch would last longer.

ok so this is how it goes, i wake up on friday morning my mind filled with all the things to do,

we have visitors coming in a few days, tidy the house, bake, buy new sheets....

suddenly for some unbeknown reason an image pops into my already busy mind, cubes, ladies, stack able, lots of different possibilities....

but i shouldn't be thinking about that now! i've got practical things to do, 

but wait... if i really go for it, i might just be able to finish them by the end of the day,

and so it goes! creativity always wins in the end!

and here they are! i am so happy with them, i spent ages playing with them today, do the math, 3 blocks, 4 sides, the first one to let me know how many different ladies there are gets a set for FREE!

so let me know!
