It's always fun finding out why I have a sudden increase in of the sale of a particular Etsy item. I noticed several orders of my pink printable vase. I couldn't work out why so I asked Ravile (a lovely person who had made a purchase) and she let me know it was YAHOO in their Valentines feature!
The spike in sales means you are simply doing something right. Furthermore, you are doing a lot of right in your mobilization of social media, and your use of it to make your products more responsive to supply, demand and the gestation process of an idea.
