As you have seen if you follow my various passions you will know that flowers are right up there!
I have a few that I adore not only for their look but also for their AMAZING scent!
The Lilac flower is one of these, I found these growing wild and to my delight my whole studio is filled with its wonderfully, fresh, old fashioned, girly scent.

I adore lilac too! We transplanted one here last summer from a friend's garden. It started to look a bit poorly with the heat so we gave it a hard prune. It did recover, but now we are in spring with no blooms, I think we must have nipped them off! Woops! At least it is alive though and we will enjoy them next year instead!!
