4 new prints

i really enjoyed creating these, the colours are a little off beat, there's something appealing about combining pure colours with sludgy ones! i found them hidden away and have adapted them for sale as prints,

i think they would make a lovely set of 4

I must say, I am really enjoying the challenge of concentrating on just one colour,  it forces me to really view it and its subtle beauty, i took these shots as I walked to the village yesterday,

This weeks colour "white"

as you may have noticed, I am totally besotted by colour,I thought it might be fun to share some of this with you so I have decided to create a new segment,

every week I am going to feature a colour, this week as you may have guessed I am starting right at the beginning of the spectrum, white and it's many many shades, from subtle green hues to yellow, white is never more beautiful than in nature as i discovered during my wintery walk last week

Sometimes i simply enjoy creating classic compositions, there is nothing more classic than a still life with fruit!, it's available now in my etsy shop!

winter walk

its cold and wintery here in New Zealand, i haven't been walking as much as normal so i grabbed the chance to go with my dear friend  and artist Annie Hayward. we spent more time taking photographs!

the light was so beautiful and everything is covered in glistening little water drops, what a beautiful world we live in!

Phew nearly there!

I'll have them in my etsy shop in the next day or two, they will be for purchase as craft kits, they will be able to be hung or placed over a lamp base,

i am thinking that it would be quite nice to make this lamp a printable version.

you could simply print of the 4 sides, and assemble with a few easy instructions!

let me know if you would prefer this option as i value your opinion!

Lampshade

it was a rather grotty weekend weather wise,
my boys where both busy with friends and my husband was tucked up in bed reading so with the option of house work or creating a lamp shade,i chose the second (no surprise!) it certainly stands out, the glow coming from it is rather lovely, what do you think?

as always i am sending shots of my latest paper kit before it is even complete, i find that by looking at it this way, i see any changes i need to make.

i must say it made my heart do a little dance when i made it up, it's as if the famous little poem sprang into life!
