thanks for the nice comments,i am still waiting for someone to use my patterns for such things as wallpaper, it's always fun seeing a single image in a pattern, it's quite surprising how it changes!

a few have asked me how come my work is so neat. well, if you do it as much as i do practice makes perfect! i use a scalpel blade not scissors as it allows me to make smoother curves. i achieve my huge selection of hues through painting my own paper. i think i have over 20 shades of red! one more secret~ i don't cut the circles free hand, i use a compass with a blade attachment.

im so excited, look what i found in our local second hand shop! i absolutely love old games,especially the colours.

phew! what a busy week, at last i have completed 12 new pieces, i'll send a few every day so watch this space! have a good weekend...

hi everyone! i was about to clean up after a hard but successful day cutting for a new range of cards for lagom and i thought i'd send a few pictures of my work space. it takes quite a while to sort out at the end of each day, as i am accumulating more and more coloured papers!

hi! my friend ellen created me because she wants everyone to know that she also loves creating characters with movement, don't you think i would look cute in editorial magazines! i'm sure you'll be seeing more of me soon doing all sorts of fun things!

more summery pieces of work!

roll on spring! i'm tired of all the rain! i even had to make my chooks a house on our deck, i don't know why the silly girls wont hang out in their cosy coop, they would rather stand next to the back door, bedraggled and looking decidedly unladylike!

here are couple of characters i created a while ago perched in front of a cushion i whipped up this rainy weekend made of groovy fabric i discovered in a local junk shop.

all this retro has me inspired!

i took my boys and mum for a trip to the wairarapa a couple of days ago and found these fab record covers in a funny little junk shop, i just love them, what do you think!

you may remember i posted these a little while ago, i am pleased to say that my client likes them, she just made a few suggestions on how to make them even cuter and more friendly,here are the changes, i agree, they do look better!

after all the cold rainy weather we have been having (it's winter in
new zealand) it is so nice to enjoy some sun. 
i took these shots of eastbourne today, looking at them makes me appreciate how lucky i am!

it's the school holidays and it's freezing cold so while the kids are happy playing i'm using the opportunity to try out a few ideas.

and here it is number 4 in my collection of kiddy art works for happy spaces.

i hope they like them, it's winter here in new Zealand so i've had the urge to create warm sunny designs!

i've been playing around with a new header, i really wanted something a bit lighter and breezy, i'm not sure if it's great i think i'll look at it again later.

what fun i'm having! i'ts interesting to see how my work looks repeated. i think this one has possibilities but needs a bit more work.
