personalized art prints
I'm thinking I would quite like to offer personalized wall art, simply pick your image and what you would like me to add, a name or a message,
what do you think?!
what do you think?!
blossoms galore!
just when I thought I'd done my dash on the blossom front I found these today and i just had to shoot them, the light shining through gives them an even more delicate appearance.
For those that are curious the camera I use and thoroughly recommend is my Nikon, Coolpix L120,
what I love about it is that it is quite small, great for carrying around and has a lovely zoom lens, the quality too is perfect for blogging!
weekend finds!
I don't know about you and where you are in the world but 1950's and 60's treasures are becoming harder and harder to find, so when I took my weekly treasure hunt yesterday I was very happy to find these cute glasses which I have added to my collection that are displayed in a set of shelves, built into the wall which have frosted glass in the back. This was very trendy back in the 50's, I can see why, coloured glass glows beautifully. Oh yes, I also found this set of practical mechanics, aren't they funny!

waiting for summer!
you have perhaps been wondering why I haven't posted lately, unfortunately I have just started to feel better after having come down with a very energy zapping virus, I really don't like having no energy, it rather cramps my style, well I'm on the mend and longing for warm sunny weather, sometimes spring can be such a tease, living on such a small country we rarely have 2 days the same. oh well at least there's variety!

lemons galore!
having an overenthusiastic lemon tree has it's advantages, especially when trying to decide what to sell at our local market day!
My son Austin 16, is in the throws of building his own computer and with a little coaxing form me I encouraged him to sell hies lemon wares this Saturday,
It went very well! and he is now on his way to having it up and running!
oh yes, someone was selling 50's scarves and I had to buy these 2 cuties, the top one is made of the finest silk, isn't it sweet!

Spring flower photos
I don't know if this happens where you live but here in New Zealand our weather seems to run in 7 day cycles, it seems that every Friday when I go for my walk with Annie, it is absolutely perfect, these photos show spring in it's infancy, the first buds, late winter camellias and my all time fave, blossoms. I could gobble them up! with my eyes of course!
